Talking with Terry Gross
Yesterday I taped an hour with Terry Gross for Fresh Air. Actually, we went overtime and taped an hour and fifteen minutes. They say it will air in a week or two, after it is edited. But I can tell you this: Terry is obsessed with my dog Brando.
Well, maybe I'm exaggerating. But she did ask a lot of questions about him. Especially after I blurted out that he is my soul mate. I tried to back-pedal a bit on that...but she wasn't buying it.
Meanwhile, my publisher is out of stock again, and doesn't expect books to be in the warehouse until sometime after the Newsweek story runs and the Fresh Air interview airs. At which point they will no doubt be out of stock again. So if you see a copy, grab it.
Meanwhile, THE DOGS WHO FOUND ME rises to #11 on Bookscan's pet list this week and #9 on the New Orleans list.

take care,
Jill
I look forward to hearing the interview with Terry Gross, though she has an annoying habit of focusing on one aspect of her guest's biography, ignoring the big picture. I sure hope this isn't what happened with your comment about Brando.
Wishing you much continued success,
David

Still grinning - now I see Sula has you "captured," too!
